Meet the Twyla Dill Team

Behind the Twyla Dill brand, there's a team of hard-working women! We might be a small team, but we all take on many different roles to fill in the gaps.

Meet Twyla: The Founder

Twyla dill leaning on a railing and smiling1. What is your favorite piece of Twyla Dill jewelry?
My current new favorites are the Cast Lace Filigree Hoops but my forever loves and most worn pieces are the Suna Earrings in Gold and Mustard and the Athra Earrings in Gold and Turquoise.

2. What do you like to do to relax?
Currently I spend my free time cooking Indian food, knitting things like sweaters and lifting weights... is that relaxing? I just finished the whole series of New Girl and Downton Abbey which I watch while I'm knitting. Also reading, love reading. :)

3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Hmmm, I really want to go everywhere in the world but the top of my list right now is Japan, Spain and Portugal.

4. Tell us a little bit about your role on the team.
I have about 127 roles: product designer, lace maker, business visionary, metalsmith, sales woman, quality control, reel maker, customer service department, team lead, maker of messes in the studio, you get the gist. I am always happy when I can hand something off to one of my amazing team members because I'm always doing a ton of things at once it seems.

Meet Rachael:  Studio and Operations Manager

 1. What’s your favorite piece of Twyla Dill jewelry?
I am obsessed with anything hand dyed crochet lace but what I am most excited about is the Dalaa Nose rings.

2. What do you like to do to relax?
My favorite thing I do to relax is head out to the coast for a surf session, or hang out in my studio and write music.

3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

I would love to go surf in France or Portugal.
4. Tell us a little bit about your role on the team.
I manage the studio and operations which means so many things. Managing inventory, systems, social media, packaging and shipping. And obviously an office dance party participant.
