Meet the Twyla Dill Team
Behind the Twyla Dill brand, there's a team of hard-working women! We might be a small team, but we all take on many different roles to fill in the gaps.
Meet Twyla: The Founder
1. What is your favorite piece of Twyla Dill jewelry?
My current new favorites are the Cast Lace Filigree Hoops but my forever loves and most worn pieces are the Suna Earrings in Gold and Mustard and the Athra Earrings in Gold and Turquoise.
2. What do you like to do to relax?
Currently I spend my free time cooking Indian food, knitting things like sweaters and lifting weights... is that relaxing? I just finished the whole series of New Girl and Downton Abbey which I watch while I'm knitting. Also reading, love reading. :)
3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Hmmm, I really want to go everywhere in the world but the top of my list right now is Japan, Spain and Portugal.
4. Tell us a little bit about your role on the team.
I have about 127 roles: product designer, lace maker, business visionary, metalsmith, sales woman, quality control, reel maker, customer service department, team lead, maker of messes in the studio, you get the gist. I am always happy when I can hand something off to one of my amazing team members because I'm always doing a ton of things at once it seems.
Meet Rachel: Sales Agent at Pike Place Market

1. What’s your favorite piece of Twyla Dill jewelry?
I love this one piece of jewelry that is a OOAK with agate, onyx, and obsidian. I also love anything that is hand-dyed!
2. What do you like to do to relax?
I too crochet, but I mostly make blankets, household items, and stuffed animals. I teach kindergarten and 1st grade in Seattle, so working for Twyla is my second job and actually another thing I do to relax because I love the Market.
3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would go to Ireland.
4. Tell us a little bit about your role on the team.
I am the sales agent at the Pike Place Market booth. I get to introduce customers from around the world to Twyla's work and to Seattle. The Market is my absolute favorite place in the world, so I feel very lucky to be able to do this in my spare time when I am not teaching.
Meet Megan: Marketing Assistant

1. What’s your favorite piece of Twyla Dill jewelry?
I love all of the new Cast Lace pieces and wear my Scalloped Hoops and Lace Halo Ring all the time, even to ballet and yoga classes. I have told almost everyone I know about the Cast Lace, haha!
2. What do you like to do to relax?
I love to binge America's Next Top Model or Chopped, bake, read, go for walks in my neighborhood, and craft! I crochet (but my projects use much bigger hooks than Twyla's!), embroider, and say "I could make that" to half the things I see on Instagram and TikTok.
3. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
That list is too long! Right now, I'd love to go back to Rome. I lived there for four months in college and fell in love with the art, wine, and gelato!
4. Tell us about your role on the team.
I am Twyla's assistant, graphic designer, marketing manager, etc.! On a normal day, I might make an Instagram Reel, contact potential wholesale stores, pitch a media story, design an email graphic, and analyze last month's sales. I love working with Twyla and wish I lived closer so I could spend time with her in the studio (I work remotely in Cleveland!).
Meet Sarah: Studio Assistant

1. What's your favorite piece of Twyla Dill jewelry?

If I could go anywhere, I would go to Southern America and see some of the cool historical sites there.
4. Tell us about your role on the team.
I am a Studio Assistant, where I pack orders and do some behind the scenes stuff, and I'm also a part of the production team where I make the metal components of the jewelry.
