All About Ocean Jasper
Beautifully green & multi-colored, the ocean jasper is the stone of diversity. With colors & patterns ranging from delicate to bold, it’s the stone that everyone can fall in love with. In some cuts the crystalline patterns create a soft & delicate floral design, while others can have white swirls or small dots of color. In my Ocean Jasper Collection I picked out pieces in gorgeous greens with uniquely colorful markings & patterns. I looove how every piece of ocean jasper is different, it makes designing the jewelry a fun challenge!
The Stone That Loves Unconditionally
Unconditional love is the name of the game when it comes to the meaning of ocean jasper! It’s said that these stones can bring joy & elevate spirits, while also relieving stress or other negative feelings you may be having. One of its nicknames is the ‘Atlantis Stone’ because it's believed to come from the ancient ocean city. Whatever the meanings may be, I think we can all agree that ocean jasper is no doubt gorgeous & unique!
Mysterious & Rare
Ocean jasper only comes from one place in the world, Madagascar. The history is a little murky, but it’s said that the first documented ownership was in the early 20th century by a German collector named Richard Balduf. Today, we work with a small family-run business to buy ocean jasper that is ethically & sustainably sourced. For all of the stones we purchase we try our very very best to make sure they are ethically & sustainably sourced!

Each and every piece of ocean jasper is truly one-of-a-kind! This is unfortunately because the popularity & demand for ocean jasper has left the mines depleted. The last time it was mined was in 2006, and no new sources have been found. Although this is a little sad, we think it’s a great reason to really cherish any ocean jasper piece you wear <3
